The Partnership is centered in the northern part of the State of
Iowa, centrally located between the East and West Coast of the United
States. In addition, the Partnership is in close proximity to other
larger metropolitan areas such as Kansas City & St. Louis, Missouri;
Omaha, Nebraska; Minneapolis/St. Paul & Duluth, Minnesota; Chicago,
Illinois and Green Bay & Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Partnership
is also intersected by major natural gas pipelines.

The Partnership region is located between two large metropolitan
areas, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Des Moines, Iowa along Interstate
35. It is only 45 minutes from I-90 and 2 hours from I-80, both
of which merge in Chicago, Illinois. The Partnership is also situated
on the four-lane Avenue of the Saints (Iowa Highway 27), connecting
St. Louis, Missouri with Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The Partnership region is served by two major railroads. The Union
Pacific Railroad has mainline rail service serving all of their
major markets running centrally through the Partnership area. They
also have a switching yard and serve several major customers in
the region. Iowa, Chicago & Eastern Railroad (IC&E) also
serves the area. Both railroads are active and continue to invest
in their operations locally providing service to all U.S. markets
from the Partnership region. We also have a local switching company
that services customers on both railroads. That company is the Iowa
Traction Railroad.
The Mason City Municipal Airport is centrally located between the
community of Mason City and Clear Lake. The airport features a 6,500

a division of Northwest Airlines, provides daily passenger service
