an ice cream parlor and soda fountain, candy kitchen and gift shop,
all in set designs from the Warner Brother motion picture of The Music
Man. The attraction also houses a museum highlighting Meredith Willson’s
memorabilia, music related exhibits and a children’s exploratorium. |

The Clear Lake Arts Center serves as an arts sales gallery
featuring local and regional artists, as well as an exhibit and learning
space. A labor of love created and operated by the Clear Lake Arts
Council, this gallery highlights a new featured artist each month
and hosts learning activities such as ‘Second Saturdays’,
where community members and visitors can become better acquainted
with North Iowa artists and their creative processes. |

The MacNider Art Museum features one of the finest collections of
art in the Midwest. Displays include pieces from the museum’s
permanent collection, visiting pieces, works from local artists, and
collections of both local and national interest, such as the Bil Baird
Puppets. |

Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa is a regional referral center for
Northern Iowa providing comprehensive sophisticated service including
open heart, cancer, neurosurgery and neonatal intensive care. Recently
selected
by Money and US News and World Report magazines as one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation and one of
the top 100 integrated health networks, Mercy Medical Center - North
Iowa has also been recognized as a top 100 facility for cardiovascular
care. Large occupational health and wellness services are also provided.
